Always look at your holster??? WRONG!
I've heard many times that you "need to look at your holster". That's wrong. There may be a time to look at your holster before you put your pistol in it, but there definitely are times where you can't or when you wouldn't want to. Gun safety is important, however people lose sight of competency when they are trying to be safe sometimes. Get training. Stop being an NPC. Use your brain.

The mag is meant to hold 30, it will hold 30. The old metal mags can be tempermental about loading with 30, but that just means you give it a good slap if your bolt isnt locked back when reloading your rifle. Magpul mags dont have that problem. They will always load easily with 30rds, even with a closed bolt.

Dude.. no lol “speed load” is done when you are under fire and you ran the gun dry or you have had a magazine induced failure and you need to get the gun back into the fight asap. This is done by just hitting the mag release and letting the mag hit the floor not tossing it across the room lol . A “tactical reload” is just a regular reload where you dump your mag in a dump pouch or stow it in your gear again usually in a situation where you just want a topped off gun.

I know im late to this video, that bein said, i agree with SOME of the statments made here. For the new shooter or newer guys lookin to get into gettin a fighting rifle, i agree, stay away from 300blk. For the guys that i roll with and already have our shit squared away, weve come to the agreement, it wont be for fighting purposes unless, we REALLY just need stealth. But for the most part for me, its a nitch SHTF hunting caliber, i have plenty of things i can hunt with, including 5.56, ive killed several deer with my fighting ar. But say theres a time were you really dont want people knowin your out huntin and shits gotten really bad, you just need to put food on the table. I have a little cva scout in 300blk suppressed with a dot, set up for what i like to call BOW RANGE ONLY. I only buy 220 grain ammo and have put back more then enough to hunt with for probably the next 10 to 15 years if i really had to. You dont need 10k rounds for any hunting rigs, if you can put that much back fuck it. But really if you have 1k to 3k worth of hunting ammo thats way more then enough, especially if you have other options. A simple single shot rifle with irons or an optic suppressed in 300 is a great little option and extremely quite.
